The Fire Cadets Plus project is committed to user privacy. It only processes your personal data for limited purposes clearly described in the following privacy statement, and does not divulge them for marketing purposes.

All personal information is processed in line with Regulation (EU) 2018/1725 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data by the Union institutions, bodies, offices and agencies and on the free movement of such data EU data (the “Regulation”), as well as Fire Cadets Plus’s IT security and confidentiality rules.

WHAT DATA DO WE COLLECT?

The data collected will be dealt by the partners of the project for the purpose of the evaluation of the project in order to comply with requirements of the public funding institution and other public authorities as well as to send you information related to this project and other European projects.

The personal data collected are:

  • Personal details (e.g. name, country of residence, e-mail);

  • Professional details (e.g. profession, job position, company).


HOW DO WE COLLECT DATA?

We collect data when you:

  • Voluntarily complete a form to assess the acquisition of learning outcomes of the project:

  • Provide feedback on any of our message boards or via email;

  • Attend to any necessary event for the completion of the project;

  • Voluntarily complete a form to assess the impact that the project has had on you.

  • Voluntarily complete any other type of enquiry form or contact us by email.


WHY DO WE COLLECT DATA?

The processing operations are necessary in order to proceed with the evaluation of project proposals requesting financial support from the relevant programmes, ensure the management and monitoring of projects, actions and activities, evaluate and strengthen the effective implementation of Erasmus+ projects.


HOW DO WE STORE YOUR DATA?

We securely store your data and incorporate it into files that will (not) be automatically processed by the Fire Cadets Plus project as the data collector.

If you wish to exert your right of access, rectification, cancellation or objection, please contact info@firecadetsplus.eu. You have the right to lodge a complaint with a Data Protection Authority (DPA).


HOW LONG DO WE KEEP YOUR PERSONAL DATA?

The data will be kept for 6 years.


DISCLOSURE TO THIRD PARTIES

The data collected will be shared only with the public funding institution, other public authorities from the EU as well as individuals and organisations who provide services to the project partners. No data will be transferred outside the EU.


RIGHTS OF THE DATA SUBJECT

  • Right of withdrawal: You can withdraw your consent to us at any time.

  • Right of access: You can ask us to verify whether we are processing personal data about you and, if so, to have access to a copy of such data.

  • Right to information: You can request information about your personal data processed by us. This applies in particular to the purposes of data processing, the categories of personal data, the categories of recipients where applicable, the storage period, the origin of your data, if applicable, and the existence of automated decision-making, including profiling and, where appropriate, meaningful information about its details.

  • Right to rectification: You can request the correction of incorrect or the completion of your personal data stored by us.

  • Right to erasure: You can request the deletion of your personal data stored by us, unless their processing is necessary to exercise the right to freedom of expression and information, to fulfil a legal obligation, for reasons of public interest or to assert, exercise or defend legal claims is.

  • Right to restriction of processing: You can request the restriction of the processing of your personal data if you contest the accuracy of the data, the processing is unlawful, but you refuse to delete it. You also have this right if we no longer need the data, but you need it to assert, exercise or defend legal claims. You also have this right if you have objected to the processing of your personal data.

  • Right to data portability: You can request that we transmit the personal data you have provided to us in a structured, common and machine-readable format. Alternatively, you can request the direct transfer of the personal data you have provided to us to another person responsible, insofar as this is possible.
