KICKOFF MEETING

On 19th February, the kickoff meeting of the European project Fire Cadets Plus took place online.

In this first meeting of the project, the delegates from the six partner organisations established the guidelines and work plan for the development of the online platform.

Once the first development is completed, the online platform will be tested with fire cadets from 5 EU countries. The fire cadets will first complete the online course on how they can use their good image in society to promote social inclusion. Upon the completion of the online course, they will evaluate the acquired knowledge and skills using the assessment tools of the platform. After completing the online course, the fire cadets will choose from the platform and implement in each pilot two methods to promote social inclusion (e.g. smart help, intercultural exchange, awareness campaign, ...). Based on the results from the testing and the feedback from the fire cadets, the project partners will implement the necessary improvements on the platform and will publish the final version in November 2022.
